The video for Apply some pressure by Maximo Park had roughly 99 shots in total. A lot of the shots featured in the video showed the band playing on stage. However there are a lot of tracking shots Following lead vocalist Paul Smith through various situations such as walking through a wardrobe similar to those dipicted in the Narnia film and book series. it also features lots of close up shots of the band playing their instruments cutting back and forth between them a a female character. There is a distinct colour scheme on show as well which appears to be red and black. With the title apply some pressure the red could be symbolic of pain and blood, like an oozing wound, the typical medical procedure to stop the bleeding is too apply some pressure to the wound.
